During other milestones of your life, like graduations, engagement, and wedding/marriage it's common to have professional photographs taken to commemorate the experience.  It's only natural to include your maternity in pictures as well.  You will never look more vibrant than when you are pregnant. The hormone changes in your body will make your complexion glow.  We feel there is nothing more beautiful than a pregnant woman.

When to have your Maternity Photography taken?

The whole point of maternity photography is to capture the "bump" when your belly is sufficiently big enough to remember, between 28-34 weeks is perfect. Contact us before you are 30 weeks along to set up a consultation. If you are 34+ weeks, call us immediately so you don’t miss the opportunity to preserve this special time of your life.  If possible we will accommodate.

What to Expect from your Maternity Photography Session?

We understand you are not a professional model and will need guidance throughout your session. That’s part of our job. We guide you with photo images and one-on-one demonstration of body posturing.  Before we ever take a picture, we meet together and review your dream photo shoot.  This is a very important part of our process because we want to ensure we're on the same page and can nail your favorite looks. After getting very clear as to what you are looking for during your Maternity Photo Session, we plan a date, and that's when the magic begins!  On the day of your Maternity Photo Session you'll meet with Donna and the team and  our process begins. What Should I Wear for my Maternity Photography Session?

Our extensive maternity wardrobe is available for your use at no additional charge.  You can dress up or dress down, remember this is your Maternity Photo Session!   You may opt to have our fine art semi-nude or nude shots taken.  Our team consists of women making this experience effortless and comfortable.

Can My Partner or Child Be In The Session?

Absolutely!  He is your accessory for the day and is welcome and encouraged to join.  Your children may be included in a look as well, but we ask you to bring someone to keep them occupied. Unaccompanied children will be fed coffee and given a puppy to take home!

During pregnancy your bodies change. Extra weight, blemishes, stretch marks etc.  No worries our team are experts in editing and will enhance and transform your images into works of art. 

What Are My Options for Photo Settings?

One of the major advantages of working with us here at Bellies n Babies is the fact that we own our studio!  This provides you the power of choice, safety, and privacy!  We can create unique sets to fit your favorite styles and we love getting creative to make your vision come true.  We have five different locations sets within our huge studio to capture your ideal shots.  Luxurious sets can be created using our line of vintage love seats, beautiful chairs, floor-to-ceiling sweeping drapes and, don’t forget a Swarovski crystal chandelier.

How Much is a Maternity Photography Session?

Answering the question “How much is a maternity photography session?” is like asking “How much is dinner at a fine restaurant?”  The answer is all up to you.  We currently offer four packages which all include digital images, this is not the professional industry norm.   You may choose how little or how much you would like to budget for prints, canvases, wall-art or other items.  Your investment can be anywhere from a few hundred dollars to several thousand.

What Are My Print Package Options?

 Bellies n Babies offers print packages to meet everyone’s objectives and budget, so you are sure to walk away with wonderful images that you will treasure for years to come as your own personal works of art. There is no required minimum purchase.
